Staff Mentoring Committee

For the overall development of the teaching and non-teaching staff, WGCE has constituted a staff mentoring committee in 2015. The committee aims to develop professionally by conducting various types of activities such as Faculty Development Programme (FDP), Faculty Exchange Programme, Seminar, Workshop, and Webinar. It works for the benefit and welfare of all the staff. If any staff member faces problems or challenges, the committee tries to solve them collaboratively.

The Staff Mentoring Committee also assists staff members who seek monetary grants (at least Rs 1500) to present papers or join webinars for professional development. The committee meets twice a year annually to interact with each other. Additionally, the committee elects and selects one member as a teacher representative to the Governing Body (GB) for a two-year term.

Aims of the Committee:

  1. To look after the needs of the members of the staff.
  2. To create a favorable working environment for all members.
  3. To plan welfare activities for both teaching and non-teaching staff.
