Anti Ragging Committee (ARC)

This committee is formed to monitor any acts done by the senior students inside the college. This cell regularly focuses on any misconduct which affects the academic atmosphere of the institution. The main function of this cell is to prevent any rowdy or undisciplined activities done by any senior students which disturbs any freshers.

Objectives:

  1. To eliminate ragging in the institution.
  2. To inculcate a ragging-free culture inside the institution.
  3. To ensure the implementation of preventive measures of anti-ragging inside the college.
  4. To prevent any acts that affect the physical and mental health.

Purposes:

The cell will monitor and supervise the campus after the admission of a new session. They will frame, design strategies for stopping ragging inside the college. The cell will take action plan by adopting different rules to stop any types of abuses which are dangerous or harmful to health.

Powers of the cell:

The members of the cell can take actions against the students who indulge in ragging, such as:

  • They can expel the student from the college.
  • They can withdraw the scholarship of the accused students.
  • They can debar the indulged students from examination.
  • They can file an FIR with local police against those who involve in ragging.
